Introduced to yoga as a child of the seventies via Lilias Yoga on PBS and I've practiced on and off ever since- for about 40 years! I am a self-taught meditator, a lifelong observer of energy and an advocate for non-violence and social change. For example, gossip is verbal violence against another. Violence is more than physical assault.
I have had the good fortune to study and travel with some of the best teachers in yoga today! In pursuit of developing a deeper relationship with yoga I have traveled to India and attended the International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh (The Yoga Capital of the World) before touring many sacred sites where I practiced with swamis and masters of yoga and meditation. It was a life changing experience and a place that I plan to revisit many times!
